Fans Can Watch Oktoberfest Race Weekend Online

September 27, 2013 (West Salem, WI) – Finally, your relatives can now watch you in action, or perhaps, your favorite driver. Whatever the case may be the Oktoberfest Race Weekend will now be brought to you. Thanks to modern technology, it is now possible to witness the Oktoberfest Race Weekend through the Internet!

The La Crosse Speedway’s Oktoberfest Race Weekend is an event that many fans circle on their calendar every year to attend in person. Many even take the entire week off to enjoy the full experience and spend days camping right on the event grounds.

Participating in this prestigious event is a unique experience, and a top ten, or a top three “podium” finish is a great lifetime memory for most racers. Sharing that with friends, family, and fans can provide a great memory for them as well. However, with life’s busy schedule and other commitments, attending all four days of the event can be a challenge. Thus… Thank you, Internet. Now friends, family and fans can watch the action when they cannot make it in person or just simply live too far away to make the journey.

You are in luck, however, as you will have an opportunity to watch the races live on the Internet with the new Pay Per View option.

“This event has fans all over the country and we realize that some are not able to attend this event in person, but still want to feel they are part of it,” Chuck Deery, Oktoberfest Promoter said. “We have teamed up with KQEG-TV and Speed51.com to provide coverage for those fans that can’t join us at La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway.”

Local television partner KQEG-TV will provide the live Internet Pay Per View (PPV) coverage of each night’s racing program. The cost is $17.95 a day to watch the live PPV. Web address links to the PPV will be available at www.oktoberfestraceweekend.com and www.lacrossespeedway.com each day.

Speed51.com will provide their popular Trackside Now coverage of practice and qualifying each day leading up to the Pay Per View coverage. They will also provide the link to the PPV throughout their coverage.

“Speed51.com is excited to be involved with the famous Oktoberfest Race Weekend,” Bob Dillner, Fox Sports NASCAR Reporter/Speed51.com Founder said. “Oktoberfest is one of the great short track events in the country and we are proud to provide the exposure to our large audience. I had the pleasure of attending Oktoberfest in 2001 and loved it.”

The action will get underway at 6pm central time on Thursday, October 3rd with a busy night of racing action. The Super Late Model Futures race, La Crosse Late Models, La Crosse Thunderstox, Hornets, La Crosse Sportsmen and Double-O divisions will be in action.

The “Dick Trickle 99” three-segment race for the Super Late Models will highlight the racing action starting at 5pm central time on Friday, October 4th. The Midwest Truck Tour, Midwestern Dash, and Area Sportsmen will also have feature events.

Saturday, October 5th will be a busy day with racing getting underway at 5pm central time. The ARCA Midwest Tour will have their qualifying heats for Sunday’s Oktoberfest 100 and the Big 8 Series and Mid-American Stock Car Series will determine their 2013 champions with their feature events.

The final day of racing will get underway at nigh noon on Sunday, October 6, showcasing the ARCA Midwest Tour, as they will crown their 2013 champion in the annual running of the Oktoberfest 100. Plus, the Big 8 Series will have an invitational race, titled the “JMcK 63,” a three-segment race. The Bandits, Vintage Cars, Outlawz, and the Late Model Challenge (10 laps on the half mile, 12 laps on the quarter mile) will conclude the 44th Anniversary.
