WEST SALEM, WI – When fans and race teams plan to attend the 44th Annual Oktoberfest Race Weekend, most don’t plan on coming just for one of the four days, but for all four days October 3rd through 6th.

For the fans, there are four exciting days of racing action with a wide variety of divisions competing around the 5/8-mile and the ¼-mile track.

For the teams, some may be eligible to compete for four straight days, depending on the style of car they bring to Fest.

The 44th Annual event will kick off on Thursday, October 3rd where LaCrosse’s local divisions and the Future stars will highlight the first night of racing, starting at 6pm. Six feature events are on the schedule with the Super Late Model Futures, La Crosse Late Models, La Crosse Sportsmen, Hornets, Thunderstox and the Double-O feature events. There will be a total of 127 laps of green flag feature racing.

The “Dick Trickle 99” for the Super Late Models will highlight the racing action on Friday, October 4th and this year’s event will be sentimental as the legend himself will not be at the event named after him. Along with the Super Late Models, the Midwest Truck Tour, Area Sportsmen / Great Northern Sportsmen Series, and the Midwestern Dash will have feature events as well.

Championships will be decided on Saturday, October 5th for the Big Series and the Mid-American Stock Car Series. Plus, the ARCA Midwest Tour will have their qualifying races in preparation for Sunday’s 100-lap main event.

The final day of the 44th Oktoberfest will close out on a classic fall afternoon with the ARCA Midwest Tour Oktoberfest 100 to crown their 2013 champion. Plus, JMCK63 event for the Limited Late Models with the Vintage Cars and Bandits feature events.
