It’s Championship Weekend at LaCrosse

October 1, 2013 Four Touring Series to Crown their Champions at Oktoberfest

(West Salem, WI) – It has become a standard that the Oktoberfest Race Weekend is not just an opportunity for drivers to win at the famous event but to also win a championship. The 44th edition will crown eight champions this year.

The ARCA Midwest Tour will once again decide their champion with the Oktoberfest 100 this Sunday afternoon. Dan Fredrickson is looking for his second Midwest title as he holds a 38-point lead over Chris Wimmer, and a 74-point over Nathan Haseleu. Fredrickson is a three-time winner of the 100-lap event (2007, 08, 10).

Only 12 points separate Adam Moore and Jordan Myers for the United Auto Supply Thunderstox championship. Jason Bolster is only 30 points behind Moore heading into their 15-lap Oktoberfest feature on Thursday night.

One championship battle to watch on Thursday night will be in the ANTS Complete Pest Control Hornets division. Jacob Bemis is the point leader going into their 15-lap feature on Thursday night.
