Attention Campers!

You are invited to stay right on the grounds during the Oktoberfest Race Weekend in the popular Oktoberfest Race Weekend Camper Village!  Reserved camping is located both inside and outside of the Fairgrounds.  As you can imagine, camping sites are limited.  There is a waiting list and if you would like to wait for a registered reserved space, please contact the office at oktoberfestcamping@gmail.com or call 608-786-1525.

PLEASE NOTE: The Agricultural Society is making some changes to the grounds and to the buildings (new construction) that could interfere with some of our campsites.  If this impacts you, we will notify you directly.  But until then, it’s best to send in your renewal just to secure a spot.

The campground opens on the Monday prior to the event.  Not BEFORE.  Units will be towed.

We hope you enjoy your stay and we are excited to have you be a part of the Oktoberfest Race Weekend!

Camping Rules & Regulations

Parking & Site Information

Parking Policy: Each reserved camping stall accommodates one camper. All camping is primitive style with porta-potties and trash removal provided.

Reserved Areas: Reserved camping spots are located inside the fence, on the north end of the west lot outside the fence, and along both edges of the east gravel parking lot. Look for white paint marks on grass to identify your reserved space.

Unreserved Areas: All other camping areas operate on a first-come, first-parked basis. Officials may remove any ropes or tape placed around empty spaces. Campground roads and boundaries are marked with paint—please stay within the designated area near your unit. All unreserved campers must park in an east-west direction (required by Fire Marshal and La Crosse County Health Department).

Vehicle Limits: Please limit driving vehicles inside the campground to one per space. The camping area is not a parking lot.

Quiet Hours & Noise

Quiet Hours: 1:00 AM to 6:00 AM daily. Please limit generator noise and use during these hours. No loud music or excessive noise is permitted. Security has the authority to remove violators and revoke pit or grandstand wristbands.

No Camping Zones:

  • Center of the East spectator parking lot (gravel lot off County Road M) is reserved for car parking only
  • Both sides of the lot (east and west) are for reserved camping
  • Designated hauler parking lots (unless approved by officials)

Speed Limit: 5 MPH throughout all grounds for everyone’s safety, especially children.

Trespassing: Stay out of buildings, barns, and other structures. Violators are subject to law enforcement action.

Electric Panels: Tampering with or opening electric panels may result in trespassing fines and loss of camping privileges.

Pets

Pets are welcome but must be leashed at all times (State Health Department requirement). Pets cannot be left unattended and owners must clean up pet waste. Pets are prohibited in grandstands and pit areas.

  • Use only supplied fire rings or bring your own
  • All fires must be attended at all times
  • No bonfires permitted
