West Salem, WI- Over the past week, our crews have been working around the clock to dismantle the old fencing, dig new footings, plant new upright poles, and attach the new fabric that makes up the new fencing. This project spans from the staging area along the back of the quarter mile all the way to turn two of the quarter mile.
This is all in an effort to add/expand the parking in the pit area along the backside of the quarter mile. This expansion of the pit area will now allow for longer haulers to be parked and will free up the access road that runs through the pit area.
“It was wasted space on the grounds that we are now utilizing to our advantage for this years Oktoberfest Race Weekend and beyond.” Stated Director of Competition Ray Loughan.
