WEST SALEM, WI – The 18th edition of the Champions’ Reunion will once again highlight Sunday of Oktoberfest Race Weekend at La Crosse Speedway in West Salem, WI, during the four‑day celebration running October 8-9-10-11, 2026. What began as a small gathering has grown into one of the largest and most recognizable reunion events in short‑track racing, and this year’s installment is expected to be its strongest yet.
The reunion will take place from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM inside the Turn One Auto Value Hospitality Chalet, giving fans a chance to meet some of the sport’s most accomplished names. Over the years, the event has welcomed an impressive lineup of racing legends Ernie Tuff, Tom Reffner, Marv Marzofka, Steve Holzhausen, Bryan Reffner, Dick Trickle, Tim Schendel, Bobby Weiss, Larry Wehrs, Leon Plank, Tom Steuding, Larry Behrens, Al Schill, Dave Watson, Mike Miller, Phil Bickley, and many more who helped shape Midwest racing history. Vintage race cars spanning eras from the 1950s through the 1990s will also be on display.
Any driver who has earned a championship at a track, tour, or series and has not competed in the past three seasons is welcome to attend, including former Oktoberfest main‑event winners. Current and former promoters are invited as well.
Fans with a Sunday Oktoberfest race ticket can enjoy the entire reunion at no additional cost. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet drivers, view historic cars, and browse decades of racing memorabilia and literature.

A list of confirmed attendees will be available at the main grandstand ticket gate on Sunday, where participants will receive an armband granting access to the reunion, food and beverages, and the afternoon’s racing program.
